Pretty little spring things

Never ones to miss out on our day in the sun, we at The Sunday Paper did some serious spring closet cleaning, clearing out winter’s emo-friendly plaid shirts and heavy hoodies to make room for all of the fashionable fads headed our way in the coming months. From old trends (the long-awaited return of the Maxi dress) to new favorites (statement jewelry that left us speechless), it’s time to spring forward into a spanking new sartorial season.
Bold prints in daring patterns give us a serious case of spring fever, while on the lighter side, gauzy fabrics and wispy ruffles adorn feminine frocks. Gladiator sandals continue to reign supreme, and tie-dyed duds have us channeling our inner flower child. This season’s accessories are all wrapped up in one word: scarves. Sophisticated in silk or casual in cotton, they’re a surprising warm-weather staple.
Forget baseball season and the pollen count--for us, spring is all about the fashion.
