Regular listeners to radio station Rock100.5’s “The Regular Guys” morning show recognize Tim Andrews as the voice constantly reminding co-host Larry Wachs what’s coming up next—and as the put-upon staffer whose eating habits, appreciation for “Harry Potter” and diary entries are constant fodder for the show. The Sunday Paper recently shot the busy producer a volley of questions about his job and the Janet Jackson “Nipplegate” scandal, which he answered, in the spirit of the Quick Q&A, quickly.—Kevin Forest Moreau

Q What's your official title, and what are your behind-the-scenes duties on the show?
 A
I’m the executive producer for “The Regular Guys Show.” Duties: Too many things to list!

What's the biggest difference between "The Regular Guys 3.0" and its previous incarnations?

It's fun, we're with a great company and I get paid more.

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia overturned the FCC's $500,000 fine against CBS for the infamous Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. That incident, of course, created a fearful atmosphere that got the Regular Guys booted off the air in 2004. What are your thoughts?

I think the FCC should reimburse CBS for every penny it spent on fighting this ridiculous fine.

What little-known secret about the show would most surprise regular listeners?

I’m really a gay woman in a (fat) man's body. SP
“The Regular Guys” can be heard weekdays 6-10 a.m. on Rock 100.5 FM. www.regularguys.com.
