A 10 YEAR AFFAIR
Eyedrum, Atlanta’s longest-running, all-volunteer nonprofit arts venue, celebrates its 10th anniversary with more than 30 music acts, performing artists, sound installations, public art, the inaugural Eyedrum Awards and the debut of the documentary “Eyedrum: The 10 Year Affair” DVD. 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at Eyedrum. www.eyedrum.org.

“SUPERNANNY” CASTING CALL

JAZZ JOURNEYS

ORGANIZED TIME

THE PLAYGROUND RIVALRY
“Battle of the bands”-style event featuring up-and-coming Atlanta acts Renegade Jane, PlayGround Rivals and headliners Rantings of Eva. WHOLE WORLD THEATRE
The improv group presents a variety of shows each week. Ladies Night takes place at 8 p.m. Thursday, with free admission for women between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Regular tickets are $16. ENDS OF THE EARTH: FROM POLAR BEARS TO PENGUINS
