Agave has so much more than great margaritas

Agave (242 Boulevard SE, Cabbagetown, 404-588-0006) is one of my new favorite restaurants. Housed in a historic Cotton Mill store, this Southwestern dining destination has really nailed the perfect combination of gourmet food, pristine cocktails and warm, friendly and knowledgeable service. They just updated their menu for the fall. Here are some of the highlights: For appetizers, try their Rio Rancho Tacos, Cayenne Fried Calamari, Beef & Pepper Tostadas, White Bean, Serrano, & Rosemary Soup, or Smoked Trout Salad over Baby Arugula. New entrees include Spicy Seared Tuna Salad, Beer Braised Pork Shank over Collard Greens, Chile-Crusted Grouper over a Sweet Navajo Corn Sauce, or the NY Strip Steak over Brown Sugar & Honey Mashed Sweet Potatoes. Delish. I wonder if they'd host my family for Thanksgiving?
