My boyfriend's home was burglarized twice in a year's time and never got any of his stuff back. The thieves took DVDs, mostly, and a few electronics, so the cops took lists of all the missing items and circulated the lists to local used media dealers in case they tried to sell them there, but nothing ever came of it.
